Grasshopper Tacos (Tacos de Chapulines) - Dallas, TX

I found Mi Lindo Oaxaca, a little hole in the wall on Yelp and decided to try their Tacos de Chapulines (Grasshopper Tacos – You read that right Grasshoppers). I am going to be honest they were not bad at all the grasshoppers were seasoned pretty well and the cheese gave it the extra flavor it needed plus the tortilla tasted like they were freshly made. The first bite can be pretty weird but once you get past the crunchiness it is really good. If you are an adventurous I would definitely recommend you try this. I think it’s time to plan a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico to try some of their delicious cuisine. I came here for the sole purpose of trying the grasshopper taco but I ended up ordering a torta which was not bad at all. Everything here is authentic Oaxacan cuisine and looked delicious when the waiter walked by with food for other tables. They do not accept cards so make sure you take enough cash. I had to run to an ATM and leave my date there waiting on me lol. The price and service were great make sure to go check them out if you have a chance.
