The Lost Cajun - San Antonio, TX

Came to try this place out for dinner last night and it definitely won’t be my last time eating here. Everything was great; the food, service, and ambiance. Once seated they bring out a complimentary sample board which was a pleasant surprise – a good way to try their gumbos, bisque, red beans and jambalaya. I guess it’s suppose to help you decide what you want but the reality is that it actually confuses you. We seriously wanted to order everything on the menu.

After we decided what we wanted we all ordered a catfish po’ boy along with different sides so we can try a variety of food. We ordered a cup of jambalaya, a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo, a cup red beans and rice, and an order of Cajun fries.

Everything that we tried was good especially the catfish po’ boy but then again I love anything sandwiches so I may be biased. The only thing missing was a little spice but nothing that some lost Cajun hot sauce couldn’t fix.
